EN AW 7075 EN AW 7075

EN AW 7075 aluminum alloy has high hardness and resistance values. As it can receive heat-treatment, such values might be maximized and thus, it can even challenge to steel in terms of hardness. Besides its high hardness and resistance, thanks to its lightness, it becomes the most important alloy for defense, aviation and aerospace industries.

General Properties

  • Rolled surface
  • Foiled on both sides
  • Very good machinability
  • High strength
  • High mechanical resistance

Typical Fields of Application

  • Defence, aircraft and aerospace industries
  • Automotive industry
  • High stressed machine components
  • Components requiring high strength, durability and lightness
